Please note, there is no voting on Sunday or Monday. The regular Election Day voting on Tuesday, November 5th takes place at your designated precinct polling location.

Russo Responds to Dangerous Precedent set by Opponent's HCR203
My opponent is the Lead Sponsor on the very dangerous House Resolution 203.
This resolution states that the West Virginia Legislature will not recognize the election in November under various circumstances, specific to a single political faction. This resolution is divisive and ignores the will of the people. We must defend our democracy, people’s right to vote, and the legitimacy of our electoral process.

SHEPHERDSTOWN - Around 100 local residents filled the seats in the ballroom of the War Memorial Building in Shepherdstown on Thursday evening, ready to share their concerns with three women running for office in the General Election on Nov. 5.
"A Community Conversation with West Virginia Women" began with a comment period by Lucia Valentine, candidate for District 97 of the West Virginia House of Representatives; Jefferson County Commission candidate Natalie Grantham Friend; and Maria Russo, candidate for District 100 of the West Virginia House of Delegates.

Challenging stereotypes & norms. Women are often underrepresented across spaces, or when they are allowed in the room, are expected to stay quiet or fall in line. I refuse to do this. I make it known when I have an opinion that I feel would add value to the conversation, and I want to support other women in using their voice to speak on what they believe in.

Preserving Jefferson County's greatest attribute - rural, open land
Scores of Jefferson County residents turned out on May 8 to fill the cafeteria at Jefferson High School for a public feedback meeting on proposed revisions to the county’s comprehensive development guide. Controlling development and preserving the county’s open spaces was a priority on the minds of most residents. A newly proposed preferred growth and development plan south of Shepherdstown was introduced at the meeting.
